Superlatives in Chicago Area High School Basketball tonight(and beyond)!!!!!!

Since Facebook obviously doesn't like me(clowns lol) they are not going to steal my joy. Oh well onto the basketball here we go:

Chicago Area:

7'3" senior Connor Luczynkski of Bartlett a triple double tonight 25 points 15 rebounds 13 blocks 5 assists for the Polish Hammer in win over East Aurora.

St Ignatius is on a roll upsetting previously undefeated #9 Mount Carmel at home. Mount Carmel missed it's first 16 three pointers all in the first half. Should I reenter them into the Elite 25?

Junior Richard Barron 32 points 10 rebounds(double/double) for St Ignatius in win.

Junior Nick Niego is on a scoring roll lately hitting 21 in a Brother Rice win tonight over Providence.

Senior Cornell commit Cooper Noard took over the game in the third quarter leading #3 Glenbrook South to a sloppy win over gutsy Evanston Township on the road.

Glenbrook South had three players in double figures(Noard, senior Elon commit Nick Martinelli and junior Rodell Davis Jr) in win.

#1 Glenbard West stayed undefeated with a dominant performance on the road vs Oak Park River Forest. Senior Gonzaga commit #1 player in state Braden Huff with 23 points and his 1000th point tonight.

#6 Whitney Young gets hammered at Bass Pro Tournament in Springfield, MO by Sierra Canyon(CA), more on this game in a bit.

Junior Joevonn McCoutry 24 in #17 Riverside Brookfield win over Timothy Christian.

Senior Northwest Missouri State commit Patrick Robinson hits game winning bucket for Oswego East in win over Joliet West.

Senior Donovan Jones scores 29 points 7 rebounds 5 assists for Solorio in win over Kennedy.

Jeremy Hall 13 points 13 rebounds(double/double) 5 assists for Solorio in win.

Ty Freeman of Austin continue his outstanding play with 37 points 9 rebounds 7 assists in win over Collins.

Sophomore sensation Antoine Glasper 20 points 5 rebounds 10 assists(double/double) in loss to A.C.C.A.

Senior Indiana State commit Robbie Avila becomes Oak Forest All-Time Leading Scorer. 22 points tonight. Congrats young fella.

Senior Illinois commit Ty Rodgers 24 points 19 rebounds(double/double) in Thornton Township win over Thornwood.

Sophomore Shaheed Solebo a career high 20 points in Lane Tech win over Lincoln Park.

Senior Christian Meeks 30 points for #23 Homewood Flossmoor in one point loss to Bolingbrook.

Junior Foster Ogbonna 15 points in #14 Rolling Meadows win over Prospect.

Senior Chase Bonder 27 points for Libertyville in win over Stevenson.

Freshman Ayden Farrare 19 points for Hinsdale South in win over Addison Trail.

South Carolina baseball commit sophomore George Wolkow 17 points and 16 rebonds(double/double) for Downers Grove North in win over York.

Tyrese Buffkin 19 points 14 rebounds(double/double) for Glenbard East in win over Fenton.

Senior Ricky Hill Jr 19 points in win over Plainfield East.


Proviso East wins Battle of Proviso over Proviso West. Johnson brothers(senior Javon(21), junior Jaloni(19) combine for 40 points).

Lashawn Pollard continues with monster scoring outbursts with 36 points 10 rebounds and 4 steals in Vocational win over Ace Amandia.

Senior Terrence Jones 26 points 20 rebounds(double/double) 5 assists in Longwood win.

Beyond Illinois:

Amari Bailey of Sierra Canyon(CA) 20 points 10 rebounds(double/double) in win over Whitney Young at Bass Pro Tournament in Springfield, MO in second game back from injury. HE'S RIDICULOUS!!!!! A PRO!!!!! Likely the best player in the country. Oh yeah a native Chicagoan, Chicago Tough!!!!!

Senior Anthony Black of Duncanville,TX ties career high with 31 tonight in win on the road at Cedar Hill(TX). Playing the rest of the season on an injunction, probably his best performance of the season.

Junior Ronald Holland 19 for Duncanville,TX one of 5 players in double figures in win.

Richardson,TX destroys Irving Mac(TX) 69-33 to continue their roll over opponents this season.

John Paul II(TX) wins tonight by 50 over Parish(TX)!!!!! Three headed monster of sophomore Liam McNeely 20 points 10 rebounds(double/double) 6 assists 2 steals, 3 blocks, junior RJ Jones 14 points and junior Gabe Warren 13 points. Big time Big Three in high school basketball.
