Updated: Jan 14, 2022

Big week some movement in the rankings as usual. Chicago Public League had a brief shutdown in the middle of last week by teachers union issues. After some meeting by public league coaches they were cleared to resume late Thursday night. Some teams only got 1 practice in before having to play games over the weekend. Let's hope the players get to finish their seasons out. Here we go:

1) Glenbard West(Glen Ellyn)(4A)(16-0)- They keep rolling on as they held Downers Grove North to 20 points, then took apart Bene Academy(Lisle) in the first half at the Steve Pappas Shootout at DePaul College Prep(Chicago). Consistently having 4 or 5 players in double figures every game. Epitome of the word "TEAM". Wednesday hosts Larkin(Elgin), Friday at Oak Park River Forest, Monday MLK Day at Fenwick(Oak Park).

2) Simeon Career Academy(Chicago)(3A)(11-1)- Beat Bogan(Chicago) then had a game cancelled vs #6 Hillcrest(Country Club Hills).
